Work hard, have fun, and make history working with UsFoundation's Legal Department. UsFoundation is seeking an individual with compliance and legal experience to join our Compliance & Legal team.

Who we are looking for

You will support the foundation-wide investigation reporting process, organize and manage compliance files, reports, and investigations, and organize key compliance policies and procedures and related documents. Responsibilities include:

· Administration and management of reports of potential violations of the code of conduct and ethics;

· maintaining and administering a case management system;

· handling requests for metrics and data from stakeholders foundation-wide;

· supporting and assisting with our internal legal practice, including reviewing draft legal reports;

· managing and administering internal messaging and communications about code of conduct and ethics reporting;

The successful candidate will possess the ability to work efficiently and independently;

manage high volumes of tasks and projects with little guidance;

react with appropriate urgency to situations and events that require a quick response or turnaround;

take effective action without having to know the total picture;

and think creatively and be proactive in solving problems that affect people within the group or other related groups.

In addition, you must be a strong written and verbal communicator, with great attention to detail, and must be able to work independently in a constantly changing and sometimes ambiguous environment. A high level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information, as well as the ability to work well with people at all levels inside and outside the foundation, is essential. This position involves working with attorneys, foundation members, and external parties.
