TLPOL (Lost Property of London) is a modern leather and upcycled goods brand that was established in 2009 by husband and wife duo and former Central Saint Martins graduates Katy and John Maskell Bell.
This Autumn LPOL has launched its first flagship brand space at Coal Drops Yard – a new cutting edge retail destination designed by Heatherwick Studio located in the new creative quarter of Kings Cross.
The Opportunity:
To be part of a growing design-led fashion brand. As a member of the LPOL team, you will join us on our journey to shape our new brand vision, and crucially build and broaden LPOL’s brand awareness and following among consumer and wholesale audiences.
To work within our new atmospheric Shop/Showroom/Studio within the newly developed Coal Drops Yard in the heart of Kings Cross.
The Role:
We are looking for a creative and organised Social Media Intern to work alongside the management team on a part-time basis, with the potential to progress to a full-time role after a six-month probation period.
We expect you to demonstrate a strong knowledge of the digital media landscape, including key social media platforms, as you will be responsible for representing the brand in our key channels.
You will be tasked with monitoring and boosting our engagement and outreach by contributing to our social media presence, and importantly communicating with our growing customer database. Being adept and confident with Photoshop and InDesign is also essential, as you will help us create brand content pieces and generate mood and style boards for new products, collections, inspiration.
Responsibilities:
Working alongside the Founders and General Manager to create and implement social/press/marketing campaigns
Develop content calendars on a weekly and monthly basis
Monitor analytics to identify areas of opportunity for brand expansion online through collaborators, artists and influencers
Identify and work into key strands: shop-able products / inspiration pieces / cultural movements / seasonal events
Creating engaging content that falls in line with the brand’s values and aesthetics
Assist in the general distribution of press releases and media alerts when needed
Provide support to the Founders and General Manager when needed generally, and for live shop, showroom and online events

Creative background (or studying) in online communications or related fields
Excellent social skills not only in the online space, but also face-to-face with customers, clients and brand collaborators
Awareness and interest in the luxury fashion, craft, design and branding sectors
Intermediate Photoshop and InDesign skills
Excellent oral and written communications skills
In-depth understanding of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest and Google, plus Google Analytics, Facebook insights etc
