Data Strategy Manager

We are looking for a Data Strategy Manager to join a client of ours based in London. This will involve transforming the way clients think about, organise and orchestrate data & technology to deliver more timely, engaging and meaningful brand experience for their customers. This involves thinking through their overall design of their ad stack, how they capture, manage and segment audience data, how they augment this with strategic partnerships, the shape of their reporting data pipeline and the things that need to flow through it, right down to the policies they need to adopt to govern the management of their data in a safe and compliant way.

The role would be a good fit for an analyst who has management experience and owned client relationships. They should also have experience querying and analysing large datasets (using SQL), can uncover and judge the quality of data sources to test hypotheses, and can Build and test statistical models (using R / Python). Experience in experimental design, implementation, and assessment is required.

Responsibilities:

” Support Global Director of Data Strategy

” Manage and train a team of two graduates

” Responsible for managing and pushing forward the relationships

” Support teams in analysing data, finding insights, and building statistical models

” Support the creation of clear and robust analytical reports and is comfortable providing clear recommendations

” Formulate strategic recommendations with Analytics Manager and above based on gathered insights

” Build relationships internally across disciplines and countries

Skills:

” Previous ownership of a solid client relationship. Established and professional communication, presentation, and influencing skills

” Project Management and Organisational Skills

” Exposure to the measurement of both Direct Response and Brand Awareness campaigns

” Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify business questions, analyse data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations

” Ability to present Data Clearly and concisely to a wide audience

” Experience with programming and statistical languages (e.g. JavaScript, Python, SQL, R, Matlab)
