This successful e-sports company is setting the standard for how brands engage in this exciting new era of electronic sports entertainment and seek a Business Development Executive working on Brand Partnerships to join their thriving team in growing the business through bringing on new clients. Not only do they participate in multiple tournaments with their elite team of professional gamers but they also produce merchandise and gaming hardware, making them uniquely positioned within the industry. As a Business Development Executive you will identify and reach out to companies to develop new partnership opportunities to assist with sponsorship. You will support partners with their marketing campaigns through sponsorship, branded content, events and more! In return you will be immersed into an exhilarating industry that has its sights set on global domination, with recent talks of e-sports becoming an Olympic sport in the future!

The Role:

Identifying potential companies to reach out to through lead generation to assist with the identification of companies you wish to target for sponsorship.

Actively approaching these prospective companies through effective business development methods with the aim of understanding their marketing campaigns.

Creatively formulating ways in which you can support their marketing initiatives through sponsorship, branded content and events, as well as assisting in the creation of presentations used when pitching to prospective clients.

Consistently inputting and updating information on the CRM system to ensure all information is correct and up-to-date.

Analysing market trends to identify new potential opportunities.

The Candidate:

Having a hunter mentality with a passion for exceeding targets will allow you to excel when prospecting potential companies for sponsorship.

Previous experience in a business development position will enable you to hit the ground running and achieve your targets quickly.

Having a degree under your belt, ideally within business/marketing/advertising/sport will mean you have an appreciation and understanding of marketing and ideally sponsorship in sport.

A confident persona and excellent verbal and written communication skills will mean you have a natural ability to effectively build rapport with people.

An eye for design and a creative flair will enable you to assist with the creation of powerful presentations that can be used to pitch for sponsorship from prospective companies.
