This is an established full time post based at Fountain Way, Salisbury, offering a high quality work-life balance. The Fountain Way site benefits from modern facilities, a hospital library and shop and a new primary care centre. Nine consultants are based at the site with ten junior medical staff as well as visiting medical students from the University of Southampton. There is an in-house weekly teaching programme.
As a Consultant Psychiatrist you will be working alongside a very friendly and enthusiastic group of colleagues. You will be one of two consultants working in both the inpatient unit and the Community Mental Health Team. A third consultant provides Memory Services in South Wiltshire. Most GP referrals are seen by the separate Primary Care Liaison Service.
We seek a candidate with enthusiasm for developing the service and Team members’ skills. Clinicians can develop special interests and involvement in management.
