To be considered for this SEN Teaching Assistant opportunity you must have the following: ·1st or 2:1 degree - Russell Group (preferable) in a core subject ·Significant SEN experience ·Speech &; Language experience ·A patient and supportive manner

In this role as an SEN Teaching Assistant you should be able to work with a range of pupils with mild to severe learning difficulties to ensure the quality of their education is of a high standard. You would be supporting and motivating these students with their classwork in aim to enable and equip them to reach their full potential. It is essential you have a 2.1 or above in Psychology or a core subject!

The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant must have significant experience of teaching and supporting SEN children in schools with complex or significant learning needs. It would be preferable if you have had experience of Speech and Language Interventions to support pupils with speech, language &; communication difficulties.

Good Knowledge &; significant experience of teaching the English National Curriculum in schools would be required for this Specialist SEN Teaching Assistant role and you would need to have good English, literacy and numeracy skills.
