We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed radiographer to join our friendly team at Bradford Teaching Hospitals. The department of Radiology supports eighteen Consultant Radiologists performing over 240,000 examinations per year. You will find it a busy and rewarding Department to work in, undertaking a comprehensive range of imaging procedures offering excellent experience in front-line Radiography using the latest digital equipment. The hours for Full Time or part-time radiographers would be considered and students are welcome to apply.
Bradford is one of the busiest Accident and Emergency Departments in the country with a large ultrasound department, three multi-detector CT scanners, two MRI scanners and three vascular interventional rooms. Bradford is ideal for newly qualified radiographers who want a challenge and to gain experience in all clinical specialities.
Bradford is a multi-cultural city and we serve a diverse population. With good road and rail links and a nearby international Airport, we are also close to beautiful countryside with the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District within easy reach. Easy access for shopping in Leeds and Manchester and many wonderful restaurants and theatres. Staff facilities include parking, a gym and a day nursery.
Brief Description of the Role:To work as part of the Imaging team in the diagnostic department, maintaining high standards of patient care and producing good quality images. Support and training will be given to newly qualified radiographers and we offer excellent experience using the latest digital equipment. We encourage staff to develop within our directorate and to enable progression into specialised areas and all CPD activities have funding. Post graduate training is actively encouraged and supported for Professional Development and advanced practise Summary of most important Experience/Skills/Qualifications required:
BSc or DCR in Radiography
All applicants’ must be registered with the HCPC
To work as part of the team with good interpersonal skills.
Working out of hours and on a 21 week rota is essential.
