The Company

It has created the world’s first online market research exchange, Fulcrum, where both suppliers and buyers of research respondents can find each other at a fraction of the cost. The market research we have facilitated has ranged from consumer eye tracking studies for ad testing or new packaging design, to a 15 minute survey targeting young mothers in Turkey. Lucid closed a $60 million funding round in 2017 and is rapidly expanding its global presence.
Account Executive - Job Spec
The Account Executive role sits within the managed client services arm of the business. You will be responsible for managing client requests for market research, from assessing their project requirements and pricing it accordingly. The job requires a high degree of analytical skill, researching global demographics and niche target audiences, alongside the ability to think quickly and creatively in a target-driven environment.
An example task would be for a client who has requested data from 500 drinkers of a specific spirit. You would then need to calculate the percentage of the population that fit the target group, look at previous studies we have run and speak to suppliers. From the information you’ll determine whether we can reach them and at what price in order to win the project with the client.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Assess client needs and coordinate with internal teams and third-party partners on an ad hoc basis.
Develop relationships with clients and build up a project pipeline.
Its an email heavy role, so you have to be organised and fast, while maintaining a personable approach to clients.
Utilize Lucid's proprietary software, Fulcrum, to calculate and implement sample plans for studies.
Proactively troubleshoot and propose solutions for projects and sometimes dealing with tricky client calls when they go wrong.
Develop a full understanding of the Market Research Industry and how Lucid can solve challenges using Fulcrum technology.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Graduate, Business/Economics/Statistics/Sociology/Social Science preferred with a 2:1 or above
Strong work ethic with self-motivated mindset and drive to achieve revenue goals
Detail oriented, self-starter who is eager to learn new skills and concepts
High-energy with ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
Ability to successfully multitask and organize complex projects - there is a high volume of emails so you need to be organised.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and mathematical capabilities
