The Pastoral Lead post will require the successful candidate to plan, deliver and evaluate learning, behaviour and/or personal development interventions for individual pupils and groups. The Pastoral Lead role is school based and will include working in the school office environment for some periods; working in classrooms, units around the school and in the Inclusion area which provides immediate and scheduled support to a wide range of young people.

This Pastoral Lead role will involve using and developing behaviour management strategies for pupils working in and out of class and being innovative and persistent in seeking solutions that work for the learners. Part of the role will involve communicating with parents about their children’s progress, both praise and concern as well as working directly with outside agencies.
