A new opportunity has arisen for a talented and dynamic haematology nurse to join our Haematology team at King’s.
Haematology at King’s is one of the Trusts flagship services, featuring Haemato-oncology, Stem Cell Transplantation, Cellular Therapy, Haemoglobinopathies and Haemostasis. Providing a comprehensive service to our local population, we also receive National and International referrals for our tertiary Stem Cell Transplantation and Bone Marrow Failures services as well as our growing Cellular Therapy Program
Our Service for Cell and Gene Therapy is rapidly expanding enabling us to add to our already established team of Haematology Advanced Nurse Practitioners. The post holder will join a team of 4 other ANPs to provide excellent and comprehensive care for this group of patients.
Key roles to include-
- Advanced Clinical Assessment of Haemato-oncology patients
- Independent Prescribing including blood products
- Making referrals to other healthcare professionals
- Bone Marrow Aspiration
- Removal of Hickman lines
- Insertion of PICC lines
