Role:

We are looking for a high-calibre, motivated and hard-working junior software engineers. A chance to work closely with a small team of experienced traders and developers to build low latency algorithmic trading systems and analytics/research tools. Projects will range from writing innovative algorithmic trading strategies, developing low-latency exchange protocols, conducting research, creating analytics tools and user interfaces.

The environment is fast-paced and candidates will see their contributions making real and immediate impact to the business and trading activities’ profit and loss. Working in a small team will give unrivalled exposure to all stages of the business from trade idea generation, algorithmic trading, data science, low latency infrastructure and investment management. You will benefit from continual mentoring from our team and learn how to deliver quality software products.

No finance background is necessary, but interest is markets is helpful! This is a great opportunity for graduate candidates to build a career in developing algorithmic trading software with a rapidly growing start-up.

Requirements:

Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline. Ideally strong experience with C/C++, experience in higher level languages is also useful. Good understanding of data structures, threading models and algorithms. Ability to work efficiently in a team that is deploying new software daily. A passion for solving complex problems and learning to build optimal solutions from scratch as well as assembling working projects from existing libraries. An interest in using knowledge from several disciplines (such as hardware, networking, OS design) to produce high-performance systems.
