We are looking for a qualified RGN with current NMC registration to work in our renal unit based in Cardiff North (Pentwyn). Here at B. Braun Avitum, we provide haemodialysis treatment to patients in patnership and on behalf of the NHS Trust. You will be fully supported and provided with excellent training and development which will enable you to provide safe, high quality, holistic nursing care to patients undergoing dialysis treatment.
You will work 37.5 hours per week - 3 x 12 hour shifts hours per week on a rota'd shift system plus an additional top-up shift (No Sunday or night shifts!) What will be expected from you as a Dialysis Nurse?
Dialysis nursing requires the skills and competencies to manage both the technical aspect of the haemodialysis process and the holistic care of patients.
You will provide effective clinical practice, carrying out patient assessments and observations of the patient's physical, psychological and social state and identifying care needs to ensure patients receive optimum care. Shift Times
The shift times for the role is as follows:
Long Day = 7-7pm (12 hours)
Short Day = 7-1pm or 1-7pm (6 hours)
