To be successful, you will be success-driven graduate who has a second class degree at the very least and already held a paid or volunteer role where you supported SEN children. The school want to meet applicants who have a captivating personality and the ability to motivate and excite pupils. The school wants to recruit someone who has a pledge to the progression of pupils with SEN and the opportunity to take responsibility of their pupils learning. We want to meet graduates who can work energetically and demonstrate their care with their empathetic nature.

This Speech and Language Assistant role involves you working primarily on an individual basis with a Year 1 student who needs individual support with communication and Speech and Language.

The School has an excellent track record in developing staff and is now a Training School and was previously deemed 'Good' by Ofsted but has certainly improved since then. It has created a positive learning environment and is often oversubscribed due to popularity. This school is widely supported by the local community and often plays host to a range of public events and activities.
