About the RoleAs part of Performance and Reward, the Pensions Team is responsible for the management of the Diageo Pension Scheme (UK), the Diageo Lifestyle Plan (UK), the Grand Metropolitan Irish Pension Fund (ROI), the Guinness Ireland Group Pension Scheme (ROI) and a number of defined contribution schemes.
Working with the defined contributions and pension projects manager on pension data projects your aim is to deliver pension data projects within required timeframes and in accordance with documented processes and guidelines. The role will predominantly involve working on the ongoing GMP reconciliation and rectification project. This is a 6 month FTC
You will be overseeing the following...
a) FinancialEnsuring data is accurate and calculating over/under payments on pension benefits as required
b) ComplexityReconciliation of historical information and the individual nature of each calculation
- Internally: Pension Team, Payroll, HR, active pension scheme members.
- Externally: HMRC (Her Majesty’s Revenue & Customs), DC providers, Actuaries, Insurance Companies
About the PersonWe are looking for someone who can work on their own initiative, is highly self-motivated and has flexible approach to their work. We are looking for someone who has excellent professional and communication skills.
Qualifications and ExperienceWe are looking for individuals with the following experiences and skills:
- Working towards RPC or QPA qualification (preferred but not essential).
- 1-3 years’ experience of defined benefit pension administration and service delivery for occupational pension schemes.
- Demonstrates numerical skills.
- Demonstrates good written and verbal communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Pensions Administration Systems, Excel, MS word, PowerPoint.
