Primary Learning Support Assistant – Bexley Primary School

- Primary Learning Support Assistant Role (KS1 &; KS2 support)
- Fantastic role offering experience required to pursue Educational Psychology / Teaching
- Required: 2:1 degree, or higher, in Psychology (preferred) or a core subject
- Desired: Experience tutoring or mentoring children with SEND
- £300 - £400 per week

This wonderful Bexley Primary School is renowned for its fantastic provisions for its pupils, specifically those in place for pupils with SEND, EBD, ASD and other complex additional needs. In your role as Primary Learning Support Assistant, you will lend your charismatic and compassionate personality to supporting KS1 &; KS2 children to overcome any learning barriers that they may face. Alongside class teachers, you will help implement class activities and project work, overseeing small groups of children as well as focusing on individuals on a 1:1 basis. Additionally you will assist with helping to achieve the best outcomes of pupils ILPs (Individual Learning Plans).
Throughout your time at this lovely Primary School, you will be offered ongoing training and support. You will be guided by a faculty that value communication and the sharing of best practice, who regularly meet to share successes and assist each other in development. The SENDCo will offer you guidance and advice as you build your core skills and confidence, to ensure you are where you need to be and to offer any further development or training should you request it.
