This Bolton secondary school is looking for an ambitious Chemistry or Physics graduate who has achieved a 2:1 or higher in a Chemistry or Physics based degree. Ideally this role would suit somebody who wants to gain paid experience prior to starting a teacher training course in September 2019. This role as a Science Teaching Assistant will enable you to work initially with small groups and on a one to one basis supporting learners in their science education.

This Chemistry/Physics Teaching assistant role involves you assisting and supporting in the teaching of the school's high-achieving Science Department. As your confidence grows you will become more involved in the planning and teaching process; working closely with an experienced department of Science teachers, benefitting from the guidance of Science leaders and play an active part in producing new learning opportunities for pupils.
