POSITION SUMMARY

Review all types of medical and dental claims for accuracy
Mentor new claim trainees after formal training to provide guidance and advice

FUNDAMENTAL COMPONENTS:

Coach trainee's and provide ongoing feedand act as a SME in addressing processing claims 35%
Audit trainee claims 50%
Emails and follow-up 10%
Other, reports etc. 5%

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

Proficient in all Meritain claims platforms and/or products
Successful demonstration of Coaching Skills
Minimum 1 year claims experience
Audit experience
Dependability and follow through are essential
Experience in a production environment is helpful
Must thrive in a team environment

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Associate's degree or equivalent experience.

FUNCTIONAL EXPERIENCES

Functional - Claims/Claim processing - Medical or Hospital - ACAS/1-3 Years
Functional - Claims/Claim processing - Dental/1-3 Years
Functional - Customer Service//1-3 Years

TECHNOLOGY EXPERIENCES

Technical - Computer Operations/System and Console Operations/1-3 Years/End User
Technical - Aetna Applications//1-3 Years/End User

DESIRED SKILLS

General Business/Communicating for Impact/FOUNDATION

ADDITIONAL JOB INFORMATION

You will play a critical role in the development of new claim processor's by collaborating with both training and the claims department. Mentors will manage trainee progression to full production by conducting audits and error feedback, one on one coaching sessions, arrange additional training and provide observations to leadership. As part of the Mentor/Audit team candidates will be expected to fully engage in our teams structure through collaboration and caring.
