A dynamic graduate with a sound understanding and experience of Speech &; Language to support an SEN group is required for an immediate start at this lovely primary school located in Liverpool.

This Primary school located in central Liverpool are seeking a resourceful high achieving Speech &; Language Graduate to join the team to build paid experience prior to starting a masters or becoming a fully qualified speech therapist. Graduate Teaching Assistant - Speech &; Language

If you are a recent Speech &; Language Graduate with high expectations and high levels of resilience with children with communication difficulties we would like to hear from you!
In this role you will work across the whole school supporting communication therapies for children who are facing delays in language and speech skills. You will be supported by an experienced SENCO and speech and language service, giving you exposure children from all years across the school.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a minimum of a 2:1 degree and have experience working with children. You will need to be confident working with PECs, Makaton and/or other speech &; language interventions. The school requires a resilient and dedicated person to drive progression with statemented pupils in order to improve confidence in communication. You will have a knowledge and understanding of creating education plans ensuring that progress is made with pupils.
The school has excellent public transport links and a strong leadership team that will support you throughout the year.
