Job Description

Resurgo’s initiatives areSpear, an award-winning programme helping young unemployed people into work or education, Resurgo Ventures, supporting emerging social entrepreneurs to make a positive impact on society and Resurgo Consulting, providing coaching services toorganisations to increase trust and improve outcomes.

Through our Spear programme, we work with young people who most need help- 89% have at least one indicator of disadvantage. The program works - over 75% of program completers are still in work a year later.

We have 8 Spear centres based in churches across London, as well as a new centre opening in Brighton in September. We are now looking for motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our Spearteamas a Lead Coach in our Harrow centre.

This exciting role as a Lead Coach will involve delivering training in life and career skills, and overseeing and taking responsibility for the recruitment of students to the programme. The successful applicant will be provided with professional training in leadership, personal development and coaching.

We are looking for someone with great people skills, a highly developed emotional intelligence and an enthusiastic and proactive temperament. Previous experience in training is preferred and a confidence in leading and motivating groups is essential. Ideally, applicants would have been in work for a minimum of 2 years.
