Do you wish to work in to work in a multidisciplinary department? Do you enjoy working in a team that provides excellent patient service and takes part in research, education and training? Then apply for this post: we are looking for an enthusiastic audiologist to join our Audiology Department.
The post-holder can request to work across sites or to be mainly based at Frimley Park Hospitals, Ashford & St. Peter’s Hospitals or in the Guildford area.
Staff members benefit from taking part in a wide range of educational and professional development opportunities comprising monthly clinical training sessions, journal clubs, and case study sessions (total of 36 educational activities per year). Staff members are also supported to attend audiology conferences and external specialist training courses. In addition, there are plenty of in-house educational activities ranging from training programmes on audiology specialities (e.g., paediatric, tinnitus, vestibular diagnostics and rehabilitation, physiological measurements etc) to taking part in ongoing research projects.
The Audiology department offers hearing services at 12 sites across Surrey and Hampshire and we provide a comprehensive audiology service including a diagnostic and rehabilitation service for children/adults, Baha service, Vestibular diagnostics and rehabilitation service, Tinnitus and Hyperacusis service and the provision of private hearing aids.
The post-holder will have the opportunity to help develop the service, interact with UK and international Audiology students and be part of a friendly, supportive and highly professional team.
We run a preceptorship program for newly qualified audiologists to provide extra support to graduates.
