Dermatology Procedure Nurse

Part Time 1 day a week

  • up to £60,000 pro rata depending on qualifications and experience. Self Employed also considered.
Community Outpatients is looking for enthusiastic, motivated Dermatology Procedure Nurse who can work independently in Nurse led and Consultant led clinics in the community to offer advice, counselling, education and monitoring of drugs and treatment regimes. You would be expected to manage change, lead a service and apply up to date evidence based practice. We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse with a demonstrable clinical interest in Dermatology and Minor Ops.
You will be required to promote high standards of clinical care to our patients and to assist the clinical team in the service and delivery of the dermatology service of the local population. The post holder will work collaboratively with the clinical team to meet the needs of patients, following policy and procedures while providing supervision to more junior staff.

Candidates must have:

  • Current NMC Registration
  • Evidence of professional updating
  • Evidence of post-registration training
  • Experience with minor operation procedures
  • MOP Trained


Relevant Dermatology qualification such as ENB N25, ENB 393, N18 or equivalent or post graduate degree in dermatology
