This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Assistant / PA / Sales Support Administrator to join a highly successful, market leading, high-end supplier of Tiles, Mosaic and Flooring to the Architectural and Design industry. They are an extremely design-led company, and have an excellent reputation for product innovation and high profile project involvement.

You will work closely with, and provide support to a Specification Sales Consultant, enabling him to increase his opportunities in identifying and pursuing new projects and to assist with allowing him to spend more time with Architects and Specifiers. The role will include identifying new opportunities through internal and external lead services. Also the follow up of project specifications with contractors and sub-contractors and tracking these projects through to order placement. This will involve organising a diary system for follow up on specified projects and new opportunities, using Outlook and an in-house contact management system, Prospect Soft.

Key responsibilities will include:-

* Writing emails on behalf of the Consultant.

* Arranging appointments with Architects and Designers.

* Updating electronic diary and paper diary with new appointments.

* General administration duties such as sample requests, pricing and availability.

* Claiming expenses for the Consultant.

* Direct contact with factories abroad ensuring materials are available and registered.

* Assistance with the rolling order forecast, issuing updates and forecast figures.

* Dealing with enquiries and coordinating follow up.

* Assistance and attendance at evening events occasionally.

The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate a high level of competence in both verbal and written communication.

Knowledge of the Construction sector would be advantageous, not essential.

It is essential that you can handle a very busy workload and work under pressure as part of a team, without direct supervision.

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel are required, and a willingness to learn the company's CRM system. A flexible and helpful, proactive attitude is required to deal with anything that arises each day on behalf of the Consultant.

This is an extremely dynamic environment which will suit a career-minded person. There is quite a lot of client contact, so will suit a confident, outgoing personality.

The role is a combination of strong admin support, but will also require strong client liaison skills.

The salary advertised is a base of up to £24K, plus a company bonus which is equivalent to £2-3K per annum on top of the base.

This role is available now, so please apply immediately if you have the relevant skills and experience as detailed above.
