If you would like to join this journey, we are looking for Graduate Data Scientists to join our growing, evolving and passionate team. Our successful candidates will be developing analytical solutions to help improve the performance and efficiency of our business, utilising a variety of machine learning techniques to make predictions [1]about future customer behaviour.

What a Graduate Data Scientist will be responsible for:
- Applying expertise in preparation, statistics, and machine learning to solve complex business problems in various domains.
- Utilising a constantly evolving range of sources and tools, extract knowledge and insight to help the business meet its goals and improve its performance.
- Support the adoption of new solutions and technology cross functionally into business processes
- Contribute to the research for assessment, introduction and rollout of tools and technology platforms for analytics, automation, insights and visualisation
- Contribute to the achievement of large science projects by assisting members of the senior team and wider business
What the Graduate Data Scientist will need to succeed:
In our team we’re looking for Graduates with a passion for what they do, pride in the brand they work for and the drive to shake up the analytical landscape. Whilst the below criteria is our checklist of the skills needed in the role – if you feel your experience and attitude match what we’re looking for then we’d love to hear from you:
- STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) qualification and background or alternatively a discipline in Operational Research is advantageous
- Proven knowledge and application of key machine learning algorithms such as Regression, Random Forests, Neural Networks and Clustering techniques.
- The ability to tell and sell the story with clear actions and make recommendations to support predictive analytics.
- A logical and curious thinker who is able to analyse, interpret and provide compelling insight.
- Experience of, or demonstrable understanding of R, Python or SAS, as well as SQL or other database interrogation language.
- An open-minded, inquisitive, flexible individual, who displays a positive attitude towards new challenges, a willingness to learn and a passion to embrace new technologies and business change.
- Strong problem-solving skills are essential, along with an ability to manage a varied workload, to tight deadlines.
