*SEN Teaching Assistant *Southwark borough, South London location *Full academic year role *£350 - £450 per week *Long Term, Full-Time role *1:1 Support for children who needs extra guidance
To be considered for this SEN Teaching Assistant opportunity you must have the following: *1st or 2:1 degree - Russell Group (preferable) in psychology or a core subject *A passion to support others *SEN experience *Prior school, education or tutoring experience would be preferred *Strong behaviour management
In this SEN Teaching Assistant you would be working 1:1 with a pupil who requires additional support to ensure that their study flows perfectly. This include helping them with their work and supporting them around the school. The SEN Teaching Assistant role would be fantastic education experience and would allow you to see the power education has to inspire students.
To be considered for this SEN Teaching Assistant role you must be a graduate with a passion to work within Special Educational Needs. You need to hold a supportive and caring manner with a "firm but fair" approach. The school will want to see graduates with the ambition to become Child or Educational Psychologists/ Teachers keen to build relevant experience in a paid role providing support on a 1:1 basis with a child who has autism and communication difficulties.
