What is it like being a Junior UX/UI Designer at Bit Zesty?
At Bit Zesty, being a Junior UX/UI Designer is about design thinking, collaboration, aesthetics and following best UX practices. It is about creating digital products and services – including web apps, websites and mobile apps.

Depending on your exact skills and experience, you will do some of the below activities:

  • Work closely with Product/Project Managers and clients helping them realise their digital product vision.
  • Sketch, wireframe, prototype by following UX best practices.
  • Create UIs using Adobe tools or Sketch.
  • Do user research – including user interviews, usability tests.
  • Keep up to date with the latest UX and Interaction Design practices and contribute to the company’s blog.

To succeed in this role, you should be:

  • Educated to a University Degree level in User Experience Design or Interaction Design (first or upper second class).
  • Experienced as a User Experience Designer, Interaction Designer or UI Designer in a commercial environment (minimum one year).
  • Passionate about good UX & Design.
  • Comfortable working under time pressure and meeting deadlines.

We are also looking for interns for one-week to four-week assignments at £500 per week. You have to be available immediately and be proficient in Sketch.
