The role:
We're looking for a sharp, personable Graduate / Office Junior with minimal experience and a real hunger to learn, to help support our business and CEO. This is a really exciting position, which will give you exposure to various areas of our business, whilst acquiring excellent experience and mentoring in the process.
25% of the role will involve supporting our CEO with both personal and business matters and 75% supporting our Management team across various functions of the company. You must be eager to help with every task that comes your way, whether it’s making a cup of tea, doing a post office run, or managing an inbox, booking an MOT and hiring a handyman. Exceptional written & verbal communication skills are a must, as is a willingness to learn and develop your professional skills.
Responsibilities to include:
Supporting the CEO with personal and business matters including property management & maintenance, personal admin, purchases & returns, inbox and diary management
Supporting AnyVan’s management team - tea & coffee making, lunch runs, admin tasks, manning telephones / customer enquiries, drafting emails, presentations, post office runs
General office support, a variety of ad-hoc tasks
The ideal candidate:
Local to Hammersmith / West London
A graduate, school or college leaver or office junior with minimal experience
Competence in use of Excel, MS Office, G Suite advantageous
A keen interest in HR, Administration, Operations or roles within the digital / tech sector as a career path
A confident communicator with exceptional written English
A forward-thinker
Organised but flexible
Reliable, honest and trustworthy
Highly professional in handling sensitive information confidentially
Comfortable with change and a fast-paced, high-pressure, varied environment
Of a positive, enthusiastic and friendly disposition!
Important bits:
Salary £18,000-£20,000
20 days holiday & Bank Holidays. (Additional day of holiday accrued annually after 2 years’ service)
Hours: 9am-6pm Monday to Friday (with a little flexibility preferred)
