Are you an Oxbridge or Russell Group graduate, aspiring to become a future teacher, but keen to gain paid experience as a Teaching Assistant first?

A number of schools in the West Yorkshire area are looking for Oxbridge and Russell Group graduates to work as a Primary or Secondary Teaching Assistant for the next academic year, with the opportunity to start before the summer.
Oxbridge Graduate Teaching Assistant (Primary/Secondary)

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will be given the opportunity to run small group interventions in core subjects including maths and English, but also in social skills and speech and language for some SEN learners. This insight in to education is a superb opportunity for aspiring teachers and educational psychologists as the experience you will have throughout the academic year will put you in a fantastic position to get a place on either the school’s teacher training, a PGCE, or even an educational psychology course.
Schools are looking for ambitious and enthusiastic graduates from Oxford, Cambridge and Russell Group Universities, who have the subject knowledge and academic background to make an impact on their staff and pupils. Excellent Oxbridge graduates and Russell Group graduates are required for the full academic year in a support role in the first instance, gaining experience of what it takes to be a teacher throughout the year.
