Analytics Graduate Programme

Data is key to giving organisations competitive advantage. This is collated from multiple sources, such as images, audio, texts, tweets and blogs, not to mention the plethora of information surrounding every event, every object, every location and every moment. How can organisations unlock the power of this data? The answer is Analytics and its enablers include technology, infrastructure, data science and business.
On this programme, there are two broad areas you can work in. One area involves delivering complex analytical solutions across data management, big data architecture and business intelligence and visual analytics. This area uses various tools, technologies and platforms like big data, Hadoop, SQL, Tableau, Qlik and D3.js. The second area focuses on the application of quantitative and business skills. This entails working on deep analysis and run statistical models using niche analytical techniques and tools. This area uses tools such as R, Python and SAS and also advises on strategies relating to analytics organisations, operations and processes. The tools and techniques used in the analytics practice are always evolving to keep up with industry and academic best practice and innovative methods.

What you’ll learn

You’ll gain an understanding of how data and statistical and quantitative analysis, combined with exploratory and predictive models delivers data-driven business insights. In both areas, you have the opportunity to develop an area of expertise and work across multiple industries as you grow with the firm from analyst to consultant and beyond.

What’s in it for you

As well as the prospect of a great career centred around improving the way the world works and lives, you can look forward to a competitive starting salary and a generous holiday allowance. Other benefits include a pension scheme, personal laptop, an AMEX card, private healthcare, subsidised gym membership, season ticket loan and much more.
