Overview of the Programme:

In Visual Merchandising, the shopper is at the centre of every decision. As a Global Brands Visual Merchandising Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain experience working with some of our most exciting global brands to support developing the brand/s merchandising in line with category and brand positioning whilst taking into account the needs of the retailer and the commercial return on investment. During the internship you will deliver project-based work across one of our exciting brand teams and will gain exposure to a range of key internal/external stakeholders.

We are looking for:

Our ideal candidate will be confident in building relationships with different stakeholders both internally and externally and have strong communication skills.

Alongside this you will need the skills to manage and prioritise your workload and respond to queries in a timely manner, as well as communicating with your Line Manager and team through regular one to one meetings.

  • Strong academic background on track for a 2.1 degree or above
  • Strong organisational skills and proven ability to build strong professional relationships
  • Has the courage and confidence to challenge and hold to account others
  • Excellent communication and ability to work with others
  • Is not afraid to challenge the status quo and welcomes change for the better with a positive ‘can do’ attitude

Our Internship Programme is a well-structured programme that combines some great development opportunities focussing on you, together with a real job in Global Brands within our Nottingham office.

Length of Placement: 10 Weeks (June – August 2019)
Salary: £18,000 pro-rata
Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week
Holiday: 25 days (pro-rata)
Assessment centre date: February 2019
