Ensure that all corporate actions and income events are captured and recorded correctly and that Fund Managers are advised of all required investment decisions.
Ensure that all asset servicing requirements of the management and the Fund Managers are met.
To assume project lead for Operations projects as agreed by management.

Description
* Ensure all Corporate Action activity is recorded on Office systems in a timely and accurate manner.
* All corporate action activity accurately recorded on Office systems within agreed timeframes
* Ensure that Fund Managers are informed of all Corporate Action activity and that necessary decisions are taken by Managers and instructions communicated to custodians within required timeframes.
* Relationships with Fund Managers built and maintained, Fund Managers kept informed of all activity and instructions communicated to custodians within agreed timeframes.
* Liaise with custodians to ensure timely and accurate delivery of service and inform management of errors/ omissions by custodians.
* Relationships with custodian built and maintained, accurate service delivered and all errors/omissions escalated to Management promptly
* Ensure that participates in Class Actions and that Custodian services are conducted appropriately.
* Ensure all income amounts; interest, dividends, redemptions etc. are recorded accurately on Office Systems.
* Assume responsibility for new projects and or functions as agreed with manager throughout the year
* Participate in the development and implementation of new systems
* Ensure that tax liabilities are correctly recorded and assist management in the recording and claiming of tax as permitted by status
* Train and support colleagues, providing guidance and assistance when necessary
* Provide management reporting as requested
* Challenge and suggest improvements to existing procedures where possible
* Keep management informed of all issues
* Technical expertise maintained with attendance of relevant and value added seminars and or training courses. Where appropriate professional qualifications studied for and achieved. Personal development plan in place and regularly reviewed and updated.

* To keep up to date with technical developments and to take ownership of continued professional and personal development
Profile
Education
* Degree level of education and relevant professional qualification such as IAQ.
Skills & Experience
* A minimum 5 years' experience working within the securities industry, specific knowledge of corporate actions required and operational functions within an investment management organisation preferred.
* Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills together with a service orientation.
* Systems literate.
