Get onboard the UTC Aerospace Operations and Supply Chain team and play a part in managing our innovative products from inception to delivery. Operations and Supply Chain employees have the opportunity to network across our businesses and functions, all while improving the productivity, quality, and efficiency of our operations worldwide.
As a New Product Introduction Intern, located in Windsor Locks, CT, you will have the responsibility to support and drive several projects from concept to implementation, giving a unique opportunity to network across a highly cross-functional organization. Air Management Systems Supply Chain is seeking a goal-oriented and energetic fall intern student to support supply chain activities.
This role offers the selected candidate an opportunity to own several high impact projects associated with our purchasing and delivery performance teams, in addition to working process improvements that will enhance the performance of the larger team. It is an ideal learning experience for a summer intern candidate interested in making significant contributions and learning more about supply chain management in a practical setting.
Responsibilities:
  • Reducing all forms of quality and delivery turn backs through weekly QCPC / MRP turn back meetings
  • Accountable to implement effective Delivery/Quality Clinics (DQC's) with suppliers and extended cross-functional team members, as required
Qualification: Basic Qualifications:
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or other related fields.
  • Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Must have completed at least 30 credit hours
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Work independently with some direction
  • Great collaborator willing to reach out to subject matter experts for help and also be patient and calm under pressure
  • Prior internship experience
Education: Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or other related fields.
