On large projects as the Junior QS you will assist in protecting National Grid’s commercial interests through the validation of the contractor’s invoices, and the review of Early Warning Notices, Notices of Compensation Events, and assessment of Contractor Claims.
In time as the Junior QS you will be made responsible for your own portfolio and will be responsible for all of the commercial management of a range of smaller projects to support the Project Engineers.
- You must be predicted to gain, a 2:2 degree classification or above in the one of the following subjects: Quantity Surveying with Construction degree.

The added bonus is that National Grid will also then fund you to finish your degree over 2 years as you return part time to University to complete your degree.
