We are located in the centre of the beautiful city of Bristol, which has been voted best place to live. It is bursting with character and provides the perfect work-life balance.
We are seeking a caring, dynamic, reliable and committed nurse with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills to join the Children's Epilepsy Nurse Team. A desire to give the best care for children with epilepsy is essential for this post.
The successful candidate will have an induction period, of a minimum of 4 weeks, individualised to meet their development needs. They will have numerous, ongoing opportunities to develop expertise in children’s epilepsy, multidisciplinary team working and teaching, enabling them to provide expert advice, care and education to children with epilepsy and those involved in caring for them.
You will be joining us at an exciting time, as we forge stronger links with community services and continue to develop the children’s epilepsy care pathway and transition service. You will work closely with our team of friendly paediatric neurologists and paediatricians to ensure that children receive a seamless, quality service.
Our Hospital is supported by two proactive charities, Above and Beyond and The Grand Appeal. The Grand Appeal’s Gromit Unleashed 2 Trail has just finished and has raised over £1.6 million to improve our hospital’s services. The city of Bristol is frequently voted a top destination in the UK and Europe to live and visit. There has never been a better time to relocate to and explore the beautiful and vibrant city of Bristol.
If you feel ready to meet this challenge, are a good team player and have the confidence to work autonomously within your level of competence, then we would love to hear from you.
