The ultrasound departments at Lincoln and Grantham incorporates a wide range of procedures which includes abdominal, obstetric, gynaecological, small parts and vascular procedures. We have a strong commitment to personal develop in all aspect of ultrasound such as sonographer led fine needle aspiration of Head & Neck nodules. Audit and CPD is actively encouraged and bi-monthly audit meetings for ultrasound are ongoing.
The successful candidate must hold the Post Graduate Diploma in ultrasound (or equivalent) and be HPC Registered. Nuchal Translucency accreditation is also essential. The ultrasound department is currently working a 6 day week but aiming to provide seven day cover. The post holder will be an effective communicator, able to work alone or as part of a team, demonstrate organisational skills and have the ability to work to a high standard, both technically and in patient care. Rotation to other Trust sites will be required.
