Job Description

This is a part time post at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham Charity, the official charity of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham.

The Fundraising Hub Officer will work in the Charity’s Fundraising Hub which is in the main Atrium of the hospital.

Dealing with enquiries from members of the public, the post holder will be the first point of contact members of the public have with the Charity and so must be able to represent the Charity in a well presented, professional manner.

The post holder will be handling fundraising and donation enquiries, as well as processing shop transactions selling the Charity’s merchandise and clothing.

The post holder will work closely with other members of the hospital charity.

Working as part of a team the post holder will have responsibility for accurate data inputting of donations, fundraising and Gift Aid claims and correspondence with donors and fundraisers.

The post holder will also learn how to organise and run events put on by the charity and its supporters. This role can involve evening and weekend work at charity events and as such is subject to a 7 day working week contract.

This role would suit someone with twelve months’ experience.

The Charity can be flexible over when the hours are worked, and so the successful applicant will be able to say what days they wish to work.
