What does a Production Improvement placement have to offer?

Working within the production support teams you will focus on delivering business and quality improvement projects helping to ensure our product is right first time and manufactured as efficiently as possible.

You will assist in a number of projects throughout the year, each increasing in complexity, which may include yield maximisation and process optimisation projects, data analysis and trending and performance management. By the end of the year you should be successfully managing your own projects. The role will involve cross functional working with other functions including engineering, quality, microbiology, new product introduction and logistics.

You will integrate into the support teams and be expected to deliver a business or compliance improvement project. These may include specific improvement activities (processes, yield, GPS improvement, cost of waste etc) or product aligned support (eg. Product campaign readiness and improvements, inspection readiness, KPI monitoring, Assembly, Filling, and Packing in Respiratory Production and performance management).

Whichever role you go into you will be applying the skills you already have and developing new skills such as; team working, problem solving and building relationships.

You will work with and learn from an experienced team of analysts and technicians; they will coach and mentor you during your year to help you achieve your potential.
