We are looking for a resilient graduate who has previous experience working with SEN children in a similar setting. The Headteacher wants to recruit an ASD Teaching Assistant with a compassionate personality that pupils Trust and a true drive help others. The school needs a graduate who has a full appreciation of the needs of their students to develop their social skills as well as their intellectual capabilities.
The ideal Teaching Assistant will be an empathetic graduate who possesses the ability to inspire those around them. This SEN Teaching Assistant vacancy is open to those who have a resilient attitude and the belief that all challenging situations can be overcome with communication, hard work, and a positive approach.
Part of your role will see you supporting the progress of a Year 6 boy who has Autism Spectrum Disorder. This will entail you mentoring him during break time and helping him build more positive social connections with his peers.
