Deutsche Bank provides commercial and investment banking, retail banking, transaction banking and asset and wealth management products and services to corporations, governments, institutional investors, small and medium-sized businesses, and private individuals. We are Germany’s leading bank, with a strong position in Europe and a significant presence in the Americas and Asia Pacific.

About Wealth Management

With client assets of around EUR 300 billion (as at December 31, 2017) and a presence in 81 cities and 18 countries across more than 100 markets globally, Deutsche Bank Wealth Management is one of the largest wealth managers worldwide. We present affluent, high-net worth and ultra-high net worth clients with a broad range of investment solutions, as well as comprehensive advice on all aspects of wealth management. We offer a holistic approach to our clients’ needs both now and in the future, from Next Gen wealth planning to aircraft financing. As a trusted partner of wealthy individuals and entrepreneurs, family offices and foundations we create lasting value for clients across our suite of product propositions, including discretionary solutions, advisory solutions, wealth planning solutions, execution only and lending and deposits. We develop bespoke solutions for our clients around the world from across a wide ranging product portfolio of fund solutions and private markets, capital markets and lending and cash management. All this is possible thanks to our global network, our many years of experience and our close collaboration with the Corporate & Investment Bank and DWS.

About your programme

Our programme is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to immediately add value and contribute to meeting the needs of our world-class clients. At the start of your journey, you’ll join your classmates across all divisions for the Global Orientation & Training Programme where you’ll hear from executive board members directly regarding the future of the bank and receive expert training that will prove invaluable in your day-to-day role.

Following this, you will begin a 12 month programme made up of four three-month rotations across different teams to give you maximum exposure to different areas of Wealth Management. Best-in-class trainers will give you an unrivalled introduction to our business and the industry, backed up by tailored E-learning modules. You will have a support network to guide you throughout, with a Rotation Manager (who will set out your role within the team and learning objectives and provide regular feedback), a Mentor (who will provide personal guidance and coaching) and a Buddy (a former graduate who has completed the programme and will be able to help you adjust to the new environment with practical advice and experience).

About your role

Working on our day-to-day business as well as on special projects, you will contribute to the development of new ideas for helping our clients achieve their financial goals and for maximising opportunities across the business. This will give you broad-based overview of all facets of wealth management. By developing individual solutions, you can develop your analytical, communication and advisory skills and gain extensive experience in dealing with demanding clients, both internal and external. The specific tasks that you deal with will depend on your role within the team. You will be trained by the best, evolve professionally as well as personally, and build a firm foundation for your career progression.

About you

We are looking for bright minds with strong academic records that are passionate about helping clients meet their financial goals and navigating the investment landscape. You should be innovative, engaging, dedicated, a strong communicator with a high level of emotional intelligence and a team player.
