We aim to find a motivated individual with a mature attitude, who can meet the demands of the role of Rehabilitation Assistant within the Spinal Cord Injury Centre.
The individual must possess (or almost completed) the N.V.Q Level 3 and hold a full U.K driving license.
To be successful the candidate will work on the ward, assisting patients with all activities of daily living as well as accompanying patients in therapy.
In addition excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required as is an understanding of the physical and psychological impact of a spinal cord injury on the patients and their families.
The successful candidate will be physically fit, able to work autonomously and effectively as part of a team. The ability to learn and develop new skills is paramount to this role in order to maximize the patient’s potential.
