The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity raises money solely to support The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre. We ensure our nurses, doctors and research teams can provide the very best care and develop life-saving treatments, which are used across the UK and around the world.

From funding state-of-the-art equipment and ground-breaking research, to creating the very best patient environments, we will never stop looking for ways to improve the lives of people affected by cancer.

The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity has a three-year strategy that aims to significantly grow our income. Along with funding an existing world-class programme of research, treatment and care, we have also launched a new £70 million capital appeal to build The Oak Cancer Centre that will provide radical new solutions for the research and treatment of cancer.

About the role

We are looking for a bright and enthusiastic Office Administrator to provide wide-ranging administrative and office management support to the Charity, act as the first point of contact for members of the public, and provide high-quality supporter care.

This role will act as front of house for the Charity, running the reception desk and liaising with volunteers, supporters and members of the public. As well as handling supporter queries, the Office Administrator will ensure the smooth running of the office, provide wider administrative support to the team, offer some PA support to senior managers and carry out HR admin where required.

About you

We are looking for someonediligent, enthusiastic and hard-working.You will be adept at handling a busy and varied workload and managing changing priorities with ease. Confidence, tact and discretion are key, and you will have experience in managing difficult or sensitive situations.

You will have previous admin experience within the Charity sector and be committed to providing high-quality support to a busy and dynamic team.
