Description
Job Title: Global Recruitment Intern
Location: City of London
Duration: 6 months fixed term contract (with a possibility to become permanent)
Type of Internship: Paid - £16,287k P/A pro rata
Role objective:
Our Group In-house Recruitment team is responsible for supporting the hiring of all senior roles across over 100 countries. Over the last 2 years we have moved to a direct recruitment model taking ownership for the full recruitment lifecycle. We are a highly customer and candidate focused team who take pride in delivering great results. We want to hire a bright and ambitious recruitment intern who is eager to learn.
The scope of the role:
• Responsible for writing job adverts and posting adverts to job boards.
• Candidate research on LinkedIn Recruiter for confidential roles.
• Supporting the recruitment process through arranging interviews, screening candidate CV’s and producing contracts of employment.
• Using social media to attract passive candidates.
• Managing some vacancies across the full recruitment lifecycle (support will be given!).
• Input new employee details on HR system ensuring all data is accurate.
• Coordinate induction programmes for new hires to ensure they are welcomed in the right way, learn about the job and the company and meet the right colleagues.
• Manage relationships with the hiring manager to keep them updated on recruitment progress.
• Support and own projects to improve our recruitment capability e.g. interview toolkits, job adverts and descriptions.
• Support general HR issues (creating contracts, adding new hire into the HR system, sending HR correspondence etc.) Qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following skills, experience and attributes;
• Previous experience of Recruitment and/or HR would be an advantage but not essential.
• Most important is that you are enthusiastic to learn, pick up new things quickly and have strong drive.
• Bright.
• Well organised, good at prioritising and able to work to tight deadlines.
• Confident and good communication skills.
• Highly conscientious and detail focussed.
Some of our previous interns have done such a good job that they became permanent employees and we would be delighted if that happens again.
