Joining the Revenue and Benefits team, you will be central to ensuring one or more of the following outsourced contracts are meeting our high standards: Revenues Services, Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support Service, Council Tax Application Service, Enforcement Agent Service or the Print and Mailing Service. Managing the performance of your allocated contractor(s), you will be instrumental in the success of this service, auditing and identifying areas for improvement, offering technical guidance, handling complaints and producing service level agreements.

This is a great role with the scope to have a direct impact on the success of the service. As such, you will have good business acumen and the capacity to handle large revenue budgets, plus experience of delivering a Revenues or Benefits service, with up-to-date knowledge of all relevant legislation. You will also have active debt management experience in a public environment, with the ability to drive change. Outstanding communication skills are a must, and you will have a solid understanding of financial techniques and methodologies.
