This is an exciting and challenging time for a proactive HR professional to join us and play a key part in shaping how we deliver an outstanding HR service. Led by a multi-award winning Director, the St Mungo’s HR team is helping to steer the organisation through a significant and exciting period of change.
You will be joining an enthusiastic and highly professional HR Operations team which is made up of two sub teams: HR Admin and HR Partners. Our organisation is growing and to support the organisational aims we are expanding our team to introduce the exciting new role of HR Officer. The HR Officer will offer first line advice to managers, support the Admin team with payroll and proactively identify ways of improving the excellent service we provide.
As a team we have already achieved several milestones in the recent years by revamping all our HR processes and launching partnership working with our key stakeholders and the HR team at St Mungo’s have recently been shortlisted as finalists in several prestigious external HR awards.
You will be able to take a lead on projects through this process of change and develop skills to support your career development. Our team offers excellent personal development and we have already seen several internal promotions within the team.

What we are looking for
We are looking for candidates who have a ‘can-do’ attitude and enjoy working in a highly challenging environment with a varied workload. You will have the resilience to work through various change processes and will be supported by a highly effective and friendly team. The ideal candidate will have a well-developed understanding of HR issues, HR information systems and up to date knowledge of employment law.
