Prisons Part Time Substance Misuse Team Lead, Band 7 (22.5hrs)

This part time post involves working within a multi-disciplinary team in a Category B local prison. Healthcare within the prison is provided on a primary care basis, but with a difference.
We are seeking a substance misuse team lead to work within an integrated healthcare model. The successful candidate will be an excellent team player who works closely with patients, the health care multi-disciplinary team and the prison to ensure a comprehensive substance misuse service is provided to remand prisoners and those who are serving a custodial sentence.
The successful candidates will be responsible for managing the team and ensuring the delivery of a high quality substance misuse services.
Secure environment experience is especially desirable, but not essential. You will benefit from an extensive supernumerary period, access to a full range of training and be encouraged to develop your skills within this role.
