Join a dynamic team in an exciting start-up and drive growth through efficient operations and logistics. We are looking to bring in an operations intern to join our brilliant team with travel expenses and a food allowance given.
Company Overview:
Wash Doctors is a logistics technology start-up shaking the car washing industry on its head. As customers are able to book through an app and as the Wash Doctors process of valeting cars is revolutionary, we are providing the most convenient and sustainable way for a customer to get their car cleaned. It’s car washing and care, delivered.
However, fundamentally we connect valeters with customers and so are extremely operations and logistics heavy. A perfect challenge for a graduate looking to take on responsibility and gain huge first-hand experience.
Launched in June 2017 by founders Will Mapstone and Christian Steele with a clear vision, Wash Doctors aims to grow through London and into other cities. We are looking for a motivational and analytical individual to join our growing team, and want you to be part of it.
Environment Overview:
We are a young, fast-growing company, with a start-up environment, where change and evolution are constant. Our small but growing team requires a high level of independence, flexibility and a ‘do whatever it takes’ mentality when it comes to taking on new tasks and responsibilities. We are located in Clapham, where you will be joining a friendly, outgoing team.
What you will be asked to do:
- Sourcing and recruiting prospective Wash Doctor partners throughout London
- Contact applicants in the funnels clearly outlining the Wash Doctors processes and special rewards in order to push them through the funnels
- Assist the Customer Support team by answering tickets related to quality
- Explore opportunities to improve the funnel to make it more streamline and increase the applicant to onboarded rate
- Hold physical onboarding sessions for prospective courier partners
- Assess Wash Doctors Operations from a wide scale, and work out where we can make incremental improvements in analytics, recruitment, stock flow and people management.
Requirements:
- You are especially energetic with a strong history of results
- You have proven problem-solving skills
- You are able to work autonomously and take charge of projects from A to Z
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent English speaker
