Graduate Teaching Assistant – Primary – KS2 - Nottingham

This cohesive and highly successful primary school are looking to expand their graduate team and give their children more opportunity to achieve their potential, whilst developing your teaching skills and ability prior to teacher training.

If you are committed to education and gaining worthwhile experience in a warm and welcoming primary school, then this school is for you!

This is a highly important role for this school and will see you providing support inside and outside of the classroom in Key Stage 2. You will be supporting and motivating children with SATS preparation and more generally literacy and numeracy support. Once you become more confident you will be able to take on elements of cover to develop you own flair as a Primary School Teacher and help you to decide whether this is the right opportunity for you.

You will need to have strong communication and organisation skills, in order to support the class teacher and wider school environment.

This opportunity will give you the essential experience you need, in order to deal with the challenges of teacher training, whilst being paid and working with a team of graduates that have similar aspirations.

In order to apply for this role, you will have a strong academic background that includes a minimum of a 2:1 degree, and strong A Levels, as well as some transferable experience with children or young people.
