As a Chemistry Graduate Teaching Assistant you will need to have a Chemistry related degree from a reputable university, display a passion for your subject, and communicate clearly with both students and staff whilst auctioning a proactive approach within lessons. It would be ideal if you had some experience working within an educational setting previously and are considering a role in education at some point in the future.
You will be working mainly on a one-on-one basis providing chemistry / science support for children with autism, cognitive development and communication difficulties. You will need to display a motivational, engaging and patient manner throughout this role and be proactive to ensure the students are fully supported. In this Chemistry Graduate Teaching Assistant role it is essential that you have a 2.1 or above in a chemistry, science or engineering related degree and have a passion to support others.
