Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust
Consultant in Orthopaedics with special interest in Lower Limb Surgery
We are very pleased to invite applications for a full time consultant trauma and orthopaedic Surgeon at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate may be expected to work across the trust's main sites (Barnet Hospital, Chase Farm Hospital and Royal Free Hospital).
This post will join and complement the existing group of orthopaedic surgeons who have a wide range of interests in elective surgery and orthopaedic trauma and aim to expand and develop these services.
We are seeking to appoint a trauma and orthopaedic surgeon with a sub specialist interest in Lower Limb surgery. The successful candidate will become part of the 24 consultant orthopaedic surgical team. The on-call commitment will be carried out on either the Barnet Hospital or Royal Free Hospital site. The majority of the elective work will be carried out on the Chase Farm Hospital site in our new Barn Theatre environment.
We hope that the individual will play an active role in helping to develop the Lower Limb service at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust.
The post seeks to maximise the use of both the theatre and outpatient resource and will include elective theatre lists and elective outpatient clinics.
