To be successful in this Maths Teaching Assistant role, you will be committed Maths graduate who has earned a second-class degree or better and a good understanding of how to work with children based on experience gained from a similar role. In this exciting Maths Teaching Assistant position, you will be working within the Maths department. In this post you will be helping the teacher to manage the differentiation of abilities within the class, offering an avenue of individual and group sessions for pupils. To gain the most from your placement you will work with a range of teachers and pupils. Your responsibilities will include realising the opportunity to raise your own learning and attainment. Your duties will include planning interactive lessons with the teacher and even contributing your own ideas.
