A leading research and strategy consultancy are looking to grow their sales team by recruiting an inquisitive and hardworking Graduate Business Development Executive. The company's mission is to help clients identify, understand and influence the people, issues and attitudes that truly matter through polling, research, evidence and expertise - allowing the client to make better decisions about their brand and organisation. Your mission will be to book meetings with prospective new clients to help win new business. As you develop in the role your responsibilities will grow and you will oversee the whole sales process.
The Role:
*Generating prospective sales leads through researching companies and sectors online ensuring you continually have a strong pipeline of new business leads to contact
*Book meetings for the Business Development Managers to pitch and sell face to face, resulting in the winning of new clients and building on the sales team's success as well as your own
*Once you are bedded into the role you will be involved in the writing of business proposals and running your own meetings allowing you to progress with the company and in your sales career
* Achieve or even better, smash your weekly meeting and revenue targets so that you are accomplishing your key role objective
The Candidate:
*Having achieved a 2:1 degree or above will give you the experience to conduct the research elements of this role
*Ambition, energy and confidence will see you go far in this progressive and challenging Business Development role
*Impeccable communication skills both verbal and written will mean correspondence with clients both on the phone and over email will be professional and credible
*A bright individual who is also a quick learner will easily be able get to grips with the polling, research and evidence on offer to their clients and develop new business with confidence
*The motivation for a career in sales will see you strive to achieve all your KPI's and revenue targets with a real purpose
